Should painkillers be taken for knee pain? | Dr. Sampat Dumbre Patil

Normal knee pain is due to age, which is degenerative arthritis. This pain is very common in women. For this pain, women take painkillers which reduce their pain, but this pain relief is temporary. These painkillers may give relief for a short period of time but there is no change in the underlying cause.

In this video Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Sampat Dumbre Patil explains that this painkiller also has some side effects like kidney problem, reduced pain tolerance, acidity problem, etc. Dr. Sampat Dumbre Patil says that painkillers should be taken only for a short time and that too after consulting your orthopedic surgeon.
